DJ Roja almost drowns in swimming pool

roja

Last Sunday, Rogers Kitaka, a.k.a DJ Roja almost ended his life. This was after the drunken people at Cayenne Bar and Lounge learnt that the DJ had turned 28 (true age). When Roja’s friends started singing the birthday song for him, others came with bottles of beer and whiskey plus buckets of water to shower him.

As if this was not enough, the people decided to push Roja into the swimming pool. Little did they know that poor guy has never attended any swimming lessons. While everyone thought it was funny, a few people realised that the DJ was fighting for his life in the swimming pool and they rushed to pull him out.

He was later seen breathing hard as he exchanged words with the guy that had pushed him into the pool: “Do you think everyone is a good swimmer. If you had killed me in the swimming pool, what do you think would have happened to you?”

The people in attendance, who included Irene Ntale, Winnie Nwagi and DJ Slick-Stuart, among others calmed him down, got him dry clothes and the celebrations went on. This was during the weekly Moroccan Pool Party, where Roja and Slick-Stuart play every Sunday.
