Bayimba International festival @ National Theatre
The 9th edition of the annual Bayimba International Festival starts today at the National Theatre and will be climaxing on Sunday. The three-day event will see artistes such as American hip-hop artiste Akua Naru, Ronald Mayinja, MoRoots, Chris Evans, Mathias Walukagga, Willy Mukabya, Kazibwe Kappo, Fred Ssebbale and gospel artiste Exodus. There will also be dance, theatre, film, and visual arts and entrance is only 5k a day.
Ivodrous Luyima in concert @ Sharing Hall
Gospel artiste Ivodrous will have his ‘Am a believer album launch’ at Nsambya Sharing Hall tonight. He will perform alongside Pr Bugembe, Betty Nakibuuka, Florence Rukundo, Joy Tendo, Justin Naboosa. Entrance fee is 50k Gold, 30k Silver, 20k Bronze and 10k for children.

Coopy Bly live in concert @ MTN Arena, lugogo
Dubbed ‘One last Time’, artiste Coopy Bly will have his concert tomorrow evening at MTN arena, Lugogo from 5pm to 11pm. Tickets will go for Shs10,000 for ordinary, Shs30,000 for VIP and Shs500,000 for a VVIP table of 10. Also expect Wilson Bugembe, Ruyonga, Holy Keane, Robinsan, Levixone, Jackie Senyonjo, Canaan Gents, Cooper & Gway, Martin Sekku, and many more artistes.
Mixtape party @ Laftaz
DJs Roja and Slick Stuart will hold their third mixtape party tomorrow at Laftaz swimming pool area. The two will play jams ranging from Hip Hop, Reggae, dancehall, techno and others. Fee is 20k ordinary and 500k for VIP tables. Also stand a chance to win a mixtape CD.
Hijab Fashion @ Lugogo Conference Hall
The Hijab Fashion Show is happening tomorrow at the UMA Conference Hall Lugogo with the theme ‘Promoting, appreciating and understanding hijab’. The event starts at 10am and ends at 6pm. Guest of honour is Hajat Mariam Mutalaga and gold tickets cost Shs100,000 while Silver costs Shs15,000.
Kapalaga Beibe in Concert @ Obligato
Kapalaga will have his Ndabirawa Tindirio concert tonight at Club Obligato starting at 7pm till late. Entry fee is 10k and 30k VIP. Artistes David Lutalo, King Saha, Da New Eagles, Golden production, Ziza Bafana and Mary Batta among others will curtain-raise.

Miss Social Media Finale @ Golf Course Hotel
The long wait is over as the Miss Social Media finale will be happening tonight at Golf Course Hotel. Artistes Naava Grey and Ruyonga will perform and entry fee is 50k Gold and 30k Silver.

Grand Opening – The Establishment
Establishment, just next to Club Guvnor is opening its doors tonight and Chameleone will headline and Malaika Joy will perform too. Entrance is 20k. There will also be snacks, drinks on the house and prizes for the best dressed. It will be a red carpet affair.

The roll call party @ Club Valencia
Club Valencia next to Kadic Hospital presents the ‘Roll call party’ where free drinks will be served from 6pm to 8pm. Free parking space and live Premier League games will be part of the evening. Entry fee is only 5k for the gents while ladies enter free. Dress code is black and gold.

Media Party @ Space Lounge
All media practitioners, Space Lounge is the place to be for the media party. Come interact, mingle and get contacts with other journalists. There will be plenty of eats and drinks. Entrance is by invite and party starts at 7pm.

Dubbed ‘A night for the A-class’, Cayenne presents the Fiesta Fire Friday tonight featuring Kenyan Fire Jugglers with music played by DJs Roja and Slick Stuart. Party starts at 8pm and entrance is free. Come ready to wiggle to the latest jams while sipping on drinks and eats at affordable prices.
