Peter Ssematimba is most known for his role in the entertainment sector more than he is in the political field. In fact, he most people knew about his political engagements after he was chased out of Parliament because of his academic papers.
But unlike other National Resistance Movements MP’s who were also evicted; Ssematimba stuck to his guns and continued representing Busiro South Constituency. He has been sighted on several occasions siting and contributing in Parliament and yesterday, he was among the MP’s who went to inspect what the new management of UBC is handling the station.
They toured both the old and new studios, visited the transmission site in Kololo, had a chart with several presenters as well as taking pictures with whoever was interested.
Because he’s a man of beauty, Ssematimba was offered a treat at the station beauty clinic which he couldn’t deny.
After their tour, the MP’s were all convinced with what they saw and pledged to offer their support whenever the need arises.
This comes after some stories emerged that the Parliamentary Committee on ICT visited UBC and recommended its closure following the ongoing wrangles that have been happening.
