Irene Ntale releases first album

Irene-Ntale

Many of you will wonder; First album? How? Well, as it turns out, singer Irene Ntale has been releasing random songs for the last four or so years.

As if she couldn’t wait for her baby to be born, as soon as she returned from the US where she had gone to perform at the annual UNAA convention, the Sembera singer treated journalists, friends and fellow artistes to her first ever album listeners party at Swangz Avenue.

The musician unveiled a 20-song album, mostly solo tracks with a few collaborations and covers. She thanked the media for the endless support, the company for believing in her and the fans for being there for her. “This has been a journey of ups and downs.

I would like to thank each and everyone who has contributed to the rise of Irene Ntale. A lot has been said but you guys have been there for me. Tonight, I celebrate another milestone in my music career and hope this wonderful album meets the standards,” she said.
But before she stepped off the podium, Irene was handed an album CD plate to pin at her home and an autographed copy of the album was later handed out to those who attended.
