For those who attended last week’s Born to Win concert at Lugogo Cricket oval that had Diamond Platnumz and Patoranking, you might have noticed that at some point four MCs took to the stage and did some activations. Well, brace yourselves guys – Uganda’s leading television network, NTV, unleashed a new sister Luganda station called Spark TV.
News of the station started circulating early this year but management kept it a top secret because it wanted to give the public a surprise Christmas and New year gift.
Among some of the presenters that were also unveiled during the launch of the station include Mr Mosh, MC Esco and DaggyNyc, who are all going to have different programmes and according to our reliable source, the station will feature only content for downtown people.
The Serena-based station will reportedly be accessed in the central region; Entebbe, Jinja, Luweero, Masaka and Ssese Islands and will also be received on all digital decoders.
