Former Monitor Publications corporate social responsibility manager Aisha Allibhai has had a busy last half of 2015. Aisha started by declaring her intentions to stand for Soroti Municipality MP, and she stopped at nothing to give the race her best. However, things did not go Aisha’s way.
But with all the stress that comes with campaigns, the celebrated radio personality remained calm, writing unrelated posts on her Facebook wall all through the campaign.
A few weeks ago, she posted: “He asked a question… and my answer was yes…”
Many people were quick to conclude that Aisha had said yes to a marriage proposal. But Aisha never came out to clear the air.
So, over the weekend, rumour started making rounds that Aisha will be introducing her man to her parents in Soroti this December.
The rumour mill also had it that the yet-to-be-identified man had bought her a luxurious BMW X5.
However, when contacted, Aisha denied all the above, “This is news, glad to hear all that; so whom am I getting married to? Are you guys pulling a prank on me?” Aisha wondered.
