Irene Ntale’s debut Nzena Nzena concert is on August 28, and the diva is not paying attention to what she termed as “damaging tabloid concoctions!” The singer laughed off recent tabloid reports that she was turning to booze, and the fact that the particular media outlet could not even get her photos right. But Irene was very unhappy that the tabloid did everything possible to drag her ‘dear mother and sister’ into their ‘concoction.’
When we bumped into her over the weekend, the Gyobera singer looked as jolly as ever and she made it clear that nothing would come in the way of her concert.
Irene also had some sqoop for us. She told us that she is hiring a professional choreographer, Sam Ibanda, to get her ready for the concert. Ibanda has travelled the world to deliver different dance presentations in Germany, Denmark, Netherlands, France, Sweden and other countries. He has choreographed Latin Flavour Uganda for the last nine years and counting. He has worked with Obsessions, celebrities and various dance crews.
Ibanda is also known for preparing couples for their wedding dance routines and marriage anniversaries.
“A dancer with Ibanda’s CV will clearly bring out a major part of my performance. I thought I might need to pay some attention to dancing during my concert,” Irene told us.
