Yes, Mesach Semakula is set to hold a concert titled Olugendo Lwange, My Journey, at the Kampala Serena Hotel, come September 25. The Golden Band singer will be the first band artiste to hold a concert at the luxurious hotel.
Mesach was the first band singer to ever win the coveted Pam Awards Artiste Of The Year accolade some years back. He beat mainstream artistes including Jose Chameleone, Bobi Wine and Bebe Cool to the award back then. Although his songs are neither club bangers nor chartbusters and he doesn’t have a video playing on MTV or Channel O, Mesach’s annual album concerts have always sold out. Mesach will share the stage with fellow Golden Band members and several friends from the music fraternity.
