Do not be fooled that comedy is all Alex Muhangi does. The “proud Mukiga” is a qualified sound engineer and has worked at Fenon Records for several years. Muhangi actually headed the production team at Fenon Records until a few days ago.
During a visit at Buddies Studio in Kiwatule, we were shocked to see the comedian behind the controls during the recording of some adverts. He remained tightlipped on whether he had crossed from Fenon to Buddies or he was just moonlighting. However, a source at Buddies told us that Muhangi joined Buddies a couple of days ago and had already taken over management of the studio.
Buddies is owned by former KFM presenter Junior Kazoora and is currently handling audio and visual production works for brands like Airtel. Alex still does standup comedy under the Krackers comedy outfit which he co-owns with Patrick Idringi a.k.a. Salvado.
