They brought business to a standstill in Buddo earlier this year when Super FM general manager Joel Isabirye, was being introduced by fiancée singer and radio presenter, Rebecca Jingo, to her family. Isabirye flew to Buddo in a chopper, then he changed to a limousine. The event also boasted of celebrity power, probably the biggest number of celebs the village has witnessed in its entire existence.
The couple are slated to say “I do” at Namirembe Cathedral next Thursday, December 5, and will later host 2,000 guests at two reception parties.
“There will be many surprises; first there will be two wedding receptions,” a source within the wedding organisating committee revealed to us.
The source also revealed that the couple will fly in a foreign-based Ugandan artiste as the chief entertainer at their wedding.
“Joel and Rebecca will be flying to Geneva, Switzerland for their honeymoon and they will stay at the luxurious Mandarin Oriental Hotel!”
Asked about the preparations, Isabirye simply told us, “We have so many surprises. The good thing is that Sqoop magazine is invited. You shall see for yourself!”
All the best, Joel and Rebecca.
