The Uganda Cranes national soccer team is slated to take on Rwandan side Amavubi Stars in an international friendly match at Namboole stadium tomorrow. And as we go for the match, we need to take note of a few changes; the team will be dressed in red jerseys.
The colour change from traditional yellow is as a result of change in sponsorship from MTN to Airtel, whose brand colour is red. And to seal their sponsorship, Airtel invested in production of a new Cranes anthem. We can reveal that it is ready and will be released anytime soon.
Produced by Andy Muzic at Buddies Studios in Ntinda, the new anthem has voices of artistes like Cindy, Fille, Sizzaman, Santana and rapper Don MC.
