The socialite’s jail term finally came to an end and he is believed to have been set free. But he refused any kind of media appearance until he “feels ready.” According to our sources, after getting wind of Meddie leaving Luzira, fellow inmates cried while others begged him to throw them an Idd party.
Sources close to the socialite told us that Meddie agreed to throw a mega Idd party for all inmates. “If he is given permission, Meddie will slaughter two bulls and offer ood that will be prepared by a top catering firm in town, is to be served to the inmates on Idd day,” the source told us.
The source added that Meddie wants to organise a football competition for inmates and will end the day with a performance probably by Jose Chameleone and a few other artistes.
About whether he plans to throw a mega party for his release, the source told us that “for now, Meddie said he would like to maintain a low profile as he focuses on challenging David Greenhalgh’s ongoing process of attaching his property.” All the best Meddie.
