Jamaican dancehall sensation Garfield Spence aka Konshens is set to return to Uganda on August 23. Apparently, Konshens is being flown in by the same promoters who booked him last October. He will once again fly in with his crooning brother Darrio with whom they did the duet Sidung that is enjoying massive airplay in Kampala. The two will be accompanied by fellow Jamaican, diva Alaine who is behind songs like Bye Bye and Spin Me.
But as he prepares to return and thrill Uganda, the Gal A Bubble singer earlier this week moved to show gratitude to the tens of thousands of music lovers that converged at Kyadondo Rugby grouds to watch him last year by releasing a documentary about his last visit. The singer, through his Subkonshus Music label released a documentary dubbed Konshens Live In Uganda Africa, The Journey, The People, The Love.
According to entertainmentmacco.com, a Jamaican website, the documentary covers all aspects of Konshen’s visit. “It’s about his experience and the love of 25,000 fans. In the documentary, Konshens also shows the power and impact of dancehall and reggae music on an entire nation.”
Hopefully, the documentary will be shown on local TV stations soon! Otherwise, thanks for appreciating the love, Konshens!
