If there is a year that has recorded most international shows in Uganda, it has to be 2012 as
we are averaging a minimum of one big show every month. Move over Sean Paul, you are so
November, welcoming Mavado and Chris Martin whose show dubbed Aktion Packed is taking
place on Saturday, December 29.
The show has been confirmed and in fact the show’s promoter, UK based Chinedu Ikoroha
jetted into town on Tuesday evening to do the groundwork for the show. The promoter kicked off the preparations by throwing a birthday bash for himself at Club Rouge. Many musicians attended the event as many of them want to be booked to share the same stage with the Jamaicans.
We are yet to confirm the ticket prices, but we here at Sqoop will be giving out tickets to the
show every week, till d-day. All you have to do is send us an SMS, or e-mail telling us why it’s
you that should win the ticket. Type Sqoop, leave a space, type your message and send to
6933 or alternatively e-mail sqoop@ug.nationmedia.com.
