The fashion show is primarily a showcase for original African fashion with several outfits made from a blend of Kitengi and other African materials and accessories. Owori will also address environmental awareness during the show by presenting several outfits made from recycled materials like denim. Most of the outfits to be showcased have been made by a group of local women under Sylvia Owori’s community development project in Mukono thus creating jobs eradicate poverty through fashion.
