This year, more than ever before, Kampala is set to witness more album launch concerts from artistes that have never held concerts before. Chris Evans led the way and Coco Finger is next on the cue before the likes of Mun G, Keko and Jackie finally hold album launch concerts.
But just like Chris Evans, the new faces on the album launch scene should expect trying times as some usual suspects have similar dates in mind already. Rapper Keko is already feeling the fire learning that May 4, the day she chose for her debut album launch concert is the same date Bebe and Bobi will be battling.
But even before the battle, Keko’s concert would only come a week before Mowzey and Weasel’s concert that is slated for Friday May 11.
Keko had not changed her date by press time. Coco Finger will be holding his debut concert on April 20 while Mun G will be launching the weekend after Coco Finger. Eddie Kenzo plans to hold a concert in July shortly before the kickoff of Ramadan and Aziz Azion has the same period in mind.
