I don’t want to take Gravity seriously – Paddyman

In response to Bobi Wine’s request to remove Gravity Omutujju’s latest song from YouTube over copyright infringement, Paddy Kayiwa Mukasa aka Paddyman said many Ugandans are ignorant.

His ‘Kiwaani‘ beat was used by Gravity on his ‘Doboozi Lya Mutuuze’, which was produced by Eno Beats.

As Paddyman put it, people who ruin someone’s work and creativity should learn from Gravity’s plight.

“I faced a lot of challenges with Elly Wamala’s projects,” Paddyman said on Spark TV’s Daily Soup adding that people wanted to re-do his songs without permission from the right people.

In response to a question about whether he could make Gravity Omutujju a song, the veteran producer replied, “No, I can’t.”

“Gravity is not someone I want to take seriously. It would be nice if we judged people by their music. I would judge another artist, but I don’t want to judge someone who isn’t serious. To begin with, I do not listen to his music. It doesn’t apply to me. No amount of money can make me work for or with him. I will never work with him,” he said.
