Irene Namubiru is one of the artistes whose name once came up among those that do not support fellow artistes. She appeared on the list alongside Juliana but the Nkuweki artiste cleared the air on that as we saw her in the audience during Azawi’s concert and when asked why she does not attend concerts more often, she said she is so selective at the concerts she attends.
“I do not just attend any show. I only watch those artistes I am interested in, for example Azawi. I want to be in the audience and enjoy every bit of a show,” she said.
Namubiru also added that she pays for the events she attends and because of that, she wants value for money. “I do not watch concerts for free. I pay for every event I go to and I want to discover different things and appreciate talent.”
