Chameleone buys 100 King Michael tickets and promises to attend show

Jose Chameleone with King Micheal

By 11am, Chameleone was already at Climax restaurant in Makindye together with King Michael. It is rare to get Chameleone at such a time but that proves something. His friendship with dancehall artiste is something that cannot be taken for granted.

With King Michael’s concert coming up this Sunday at Lido beach, Jose Chameleone has pledged his availability on the day and also bought tickets for the show.

“This is more than a concert. It is a celebration of Ugandan music so I urge all my fans to please come and support Michael because he has done so much for this industry. Michael used to play my music at Lido and not just me but most artists when they were starting out. What better way to reward him than being there when he is celebrating 20 years in the game,” Chameleone said.

The ‘Forever’ artiste further bought 100 tickets for the first 100 King Michael fans to make it to Lido this Sunday.

King Michael on the other hand appreciated his mother for convincing him to change the dates for this concert from the 15th to the 17th.

“I would like to thank my mother for convincing me change the dates and the venue for my concert. Lido is where I started from so it was so important to do these celebrations over there instead of cricket Oval,” he stated.

He also noted that he doesn’t have any problem with Sheebah and Cindy for holding their battle on the same day that he was supposed to have his concert earlier and wished them well. “Both ladies have immensely contributed to the Ugandan music industry and have a strong pillar they have put on the music industry. I wish them well.”
