Incognito trend is here to stay

STATEMENT: Pulling this look off requires a lot of fashion skill and confidence, so nothing about this is going to be effortless.

If you have ever heard of the phrase, ‘no face, no case’, then you will be happy to know that it is something you can now apply in your own fashion choices. And this is all thanks partly to reality star, Kim Kardashian and the rise of the incognito fashion trend. This trend that has quickly taken over and even been slayed by some of our Ugandan fashionistas is the easiest way to get recognised when you step out, without actually being seen!

Here is why we love this trend, and are rooting for it to stay for a while.

You always make a statement

It does not matter whether you are at a party full of celebrities; the moment you arrive rocking something incognito, you are going to get recognised and turn a few heads without a doubt. This is because this is not the kind of look you see everybody turning up in. So, in case you are looking to make a statement for your next red carpet moment or appearance, then this might just be the trend for you.

Nothing effortless about this

Pulling this look off requires a lot of fashion skill and confidence, so nothing about this is going to be effortless. And this makes us love the trend even more.

Depending on what you choose to wear for your incognito, chances are you will likely have breathing problems, and then there is the issue of comfort.

But then again, who needs to breathe when you are wearing designer labels and cementing your place among the fashion greats of this world?
