Powering dreams of pandemic babies at Jam Fest

The pandemic was a big blow to many sectors including the entertainment industry but to some creatives, it was a blessing in disguise as they cut their teeth in the industry through the pandemic. We are speaking about people like Sam Sojah, Crysto Panda, Mudra, and Vyper Ranking among others.

With the economy fully opened up, the first edition of the Jam Fest is offering the pandemic babies an opportunity to perform at a big stage.

Themed ‘Powering dreams’, the event is happening this Saturday at Zoe grounds and besides the above-mentioned artistes, expect entertainment from Mark D’urban, Azawi, Amaniga, Davis the Violinist and 15 different deejays including Dj Rachael, Alisha as well as poets among others who broke out two years back.

“These artistes have been limited to having shows on TV and online and they had never been on a big stage so we decided to offer them this big platform to exhibit what they got. However, we went directly to artistes who had good content during the pandemic,” said Elvis Ssekyanzi, one of the proprietors and sponsors of the Jam Fest during a press conference at Whispers lounge a few days ago.

With gates opening at 10 am and entrance at shs25,000, don’t miss other activities like gaming, face painting for the little ones, live band music, deejay mixes, dancers, and hospitality tents that will be offering lots to drink and eat throughout the entire event.

The Jam Fest will be happening thrice a year with different themes.
