Roast and Rhyme

The Storytellers edition of Roast and Rhyme is on this Sunday with musicians Jamal Wasswa, Ffefe Bussi and the Myth headlining the show at Jahazi Pier. Doors will be open at 10am and entrance is Shs50,000. Make sure to Come with your meat and get a free charcoal stove to roast.

The Subafest Uganda campus edition

The Subafest Uganda campus edition is happening tomorrow at Makerere University main sports ground with the theme ‘Gold &Silver’. There will be awards for dirtiest Subaru, best body art, best interior, among others. Gates open at 10am and entry is 20K.

Comedicine @ National theatre

Fun Factory presents Comedicine next Thursday evening at National Theatre featuring comedians Tindi Veronica, Richard Tuwangye, Hannigton Bugingo, Frobisher Lwanga, Dickson Zizinga and Simon base Kalema, among others. Entrance is 20K and show starts at 7.30pm. Do not miss special surprise performances mid-way through the skits.

Mid-Year trip to Ssese Islands

Are you looking for a weekend getaway or adventure? The mid-year trip to Ssese Islands is on starting today to Sunday. Booking fee is 300K full board and 200K bed and breakfast. Activities will include a trip to Virgin Island, guided forest walk, Island drive and goat roasting, among others.

Embabbalala @ Bat valley Theatre

If you are into theatre then Kream Production has got you covered. Together with Aromatic Entertainment, they will present a play titled Embabbalala on Saturday and Sunday at Bat Valley Theatre for two shows; 3pm and 7pm. Entrance is 20k. They will be joined by B2C, Hajj Haruna Mubiru and Mary Bata, among others.

Sheebaholics Workout

For those who want to be fit, there is a fitness work out dubbed ‘Sheebaholics workout’ tomorrow starting at 8am at Uganda Museum. The man to head the drills is Robbie of Robbie Fitness. Entrance is Shs20,000 so come get the best workout.

Vinka @ AER Lounge

The Chip Na Ketchup party featuring Vinka is on tomorrow at AER Lounge next to the British High Commission. The show will also feature comedians MC Kapale, Jaja Bruce and Odong. Entrance is 20k with free chips and ketchup.

Kabira football tournament @ Kabira country club

Football unites people and this Sunday, the Kabira Football Tournament is back at Kabira Country Club in Bukoto where cash prizes await different winners. Registration is 200K. Each team will have eight players with six aside. Game starts at 10am and entrance is 10K.

Ekyeppukulu @ Namboole

Namboole Stadium will be blazing this Sunday during this year’s Ekyeppukulu ekyebyeewunyo organised by both Abtex and Balaam. Stage 1 will have musicians while stage 2 will have comedians. Bebe Cool, Chameleone, B2C, Irene Ntale, Sheebah will perform. Entrance is 7K and gates will be open at 10am.
