PICTURES: Winnie Byanyima dines with Donald Trump, Theresa May, Emmanuel Macron

Social media is green with envy after photos of Winnie Byanyima seemingly having a good time with some of the world’s most powerful people and leaders surfaced on social media.

In the pictures Byanyima is seen shaking hands with US president Donald Trump. In other pictures she is seen with seated with British Prime Minister Theresa May, Angela Merkel (Germany), IMF Managing Director Christine Lagarde and across the table is Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and French president Emmanuel Macron.

Byanyima is executive director of Oxfam International and also wife to Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) stalwart Dr Kizza Besigye.

The pictures were taken at the G7 breakfast on gender equality on Saturday. In the meeting Trump who arrived late doubled down on his commitment to fairer trade threatening to ‘STOP trading’ with some of America’s closest allies unless they can agree on tariffs.
