I’ve been linked to 100 men – Zari Hassan

Zari Hassan

South African-based Ugandan entrepreneur, Zari Hassan, is a TV reality star and a socialite.

Speaking to Nairobi News, she revealed that she has gotten used to outrageous news reports about her life.

“First thing in the morning is that I pray then check out what’s happening on social media before beginning the day’s itinerary,” Zari said,”I have been called controversial, an attention seeker. People have said everything nasty they needed to say to me, but they still watch and follow me.”

Adding, “On weird rumours about me, I have heard a lot of them sometimes I even wonder if they are really speaking about me. I have been branded to be dating men I have never been with just because I was or have been seen with them. The list goes up to 100 guys, but whenever I look at it most of those guys are my kin.”

Asked what is the secret to a successful relationship.

Zari said, “To be honest I’m the last person to advise anyone on secrets to a successful relationship. I don’t have any to date I don’t know what it takes to be or have a successful relationship. I would be lying to say I do, I mean I have been into many relationships.

But hey if you are into a relationship, I say enjoy it while it lasts.”

Showing her vulnerable side, Zari said, “As a human being sometimes I doubt myself but I like to look at life from a positive point of view and always want to hold on to that because holding onto negativity tends to pull you down.”

She explained, “Most people don’t know my history from being a socialite to a businesswoman. But it’s okay, socialite is part of me, without that life I wouldn’t have the life I have today.”

“My advice to young girls is to always be authentic. If you have a shamba got and farm it and share it with us. We will love you for being authentic. Be yourself you don’t need a Gucci bag to be on Instagram or TikTok I am very authentic I just do me no matter what people say.

When you see me post big houses, expensive cars, Gucci bags, it’s because I have earned it. I have worked my way up. I have been working since I was 19 so it’s okay for me to share my successes,” she noted.

Concluding the quick-fire interview, Zari said, “In my purse I will be honest I carry a lot of bank cards, I am the boss lady remember? And ooh! A lip gloss never misses,” adding, “If I were stranded on a deserted island and only bring three luxury items, there would definitely be a sunscreen, lip gloss and a good lotion.”
