TikTokers take their content to theatre

Drama and short comedy skits have become common features on TikTok with many young talents embracing the social media application. Some have become widely known on the app due to their content.

Creatives like Jose Chakala also known as Landlord, CB Talker, Musiramu, Weird Pastor, and Maama Nakanjako among others are some of the known creators on TikTok. They usually act funny skits that leave you laughing because of the art and creativity they incorporate while making them.

All of these TikTokers have known accounts on which their content is posted. Of late, this group of young creatives has interestingly portrayed a spirit of togetherness and cooperation while making their skits. Even though all of them have personal accounts, they have made quite a few comedy and drama skits. In these skits, they usually appear as characters with one being the main act. Also, their work has received several views on social media.

The group is now set to have their first ever drama and comedy show dubbed “Tuli Bulala” which will see the work they do moving from TikTok to the theatre. The announcement of the show was made on Monday by one of the lead actors Jose Chakala (landlord) via his social media platforms in a post that reads: “Hello Uganda we are finally here, 25th August at Theater Labonita Tuli Bulala Live Show”

Entrance to the show will be 20k, 50k, and one million shillings.
