Exactly one week ago, Ugandans on Twitter started a campaign to help KFM morning show host Malaika Nyanzi meet her everyday crush Romelu Menama Lukaku Bolingoli.

Through the Hashtag #HelpMalaikaMeetLukaku, several tweeps tagged Lukaku to bring the crisis to his attention, but the Manchester United Striker is too busy to notice that so many people are tagging his twitter account.

Nonetheless, poor Malaika is still hopeful that she will soon meet her crush.

This week she worked on the #Iamfemale dance production, wherein one particular performance she acted as a bride. Posting the photos on her twitter account this morning, Malaika said, “Nze I am ready. Someone let @RomeluLukaku9 know.”

The tweet came after the Belgian professional footballer scored two goals for Manchester United in last night’s match against PSG, taking the team to the Quarterfinals of the Champions League when no one expected them to.

Right before the match last night, a one @emmanuelhatter tweeted, “As we head for tonight’s game against @PSG_English, We’ve got nothing to lose. Attack and score once again @RomeluLukaku9. Then come to Uganda and Meet the one and only, @malaikatenshi.”

However, Lukaku has not yet had a glimpse of these tweets or perhaps hasn’t because he has not yet mentioned a thing about Uganda, despite the fact that he makes at least one tweet a day.
We hope Malaika meets him bambi!
