Events promoter Nobert Events has announced that he is putting an end to his ongoing social media rants against music legend Jose Chameleone.
“From today, October 6th, I cease fire on matters concerning Jose Chameleone,” Nobert declared in a post on his social platforms.
However, his message of peace came with a warning. “Chameleone, don’t ever threaten me again. Some of us are never intimidated,” he added, hinting that tensions between the two may not be completely buried.
The truce might have come too late. Earlier this week, Chameleone filed a cyber harassment case against Nobert at Katwe Police Station, under reference number 112/06/10/2025.
Three days before the announcement, the Valu Valu hitmaker had issued a stern warning to Nobert, demanding that he stop using his name in public disputes or risk legal action.
“I’ve heard Nobert talk badly about me before, and I forgave him. But this must stop,” Chameleone said.
The singer also clarified that he has never worked with Nobert and questioned why the promoter continues to involve him in the ongoing conflicts with his brothers, Weasel and Pallaso.
As the dust settles, fans are left wondering whether Nobert’s ceasefire marks the end of this feud — or just another pause in an ongoing saga within Uganda’s music industry.
