Entrepreneur and media personality Deborah Nantongo, popularly known as Mami Deb, has announced her exit from Kampala Crème, the hit Ugandan reality TV show, after three successful seasons.
Mami Deb, one of the show’s original cast members, revealed the news through a heartfelt post on her social media pages, saying the decision did not come easily.
“After much thought and reflection, I’ve made the decision that I will not be returning for the next season of Kampala Crème,” she wrote.
She went on to reflect on her journey on the show, describing it as an unforgettable experience filled with “laughter, lessons, growth, and some truly wild moments.”
“As I close this chapter, I do so with nothing but love and gratitude—and I look forward to my next adventure with excitement and an open heart,” she added.
Since its premiere on April 12, 2024, Kampala Crème has gained popularity for showcasing the lives of artists, socialites, media personalities, and other public figures in a uniquely entertaining and glamorous light. Mami Deb quickly became a fan favourite for her charisma, authenticity, and confident presence on screen.
Her departure adds to the growing list of former cast members who have left the show, including Baby Gloria, Etania, and Laika, among others.
As fans speculate on what’s next for her, Mami Deb’s exit marks the end of an era for Kampala Crème—and possibly the start of an exciting new chapter in her personal and professional journey.
