At just 22 years old, Trivia Elle Muhoza from Bukomansimbi stepped into the spotlight on Saturday night and claimed the coveted Miss Uganda 2025 crown at a glittering finale held at the Sheraton Kampala Hotel.

From the very start, Muhoza was a clear crowd favorite. The audience, many waving placards with her face, erupted into thunderous applause the moment her name was announced. But beyond the glamour of the tiara and sash, Muhoza’s win carried a deeper purpose: she pledged to use her reign to empower single mothers, particularly those affected by domestic violence.

The grand finale was a spectacle of beauty, talent, and substance. Contestants impressed the judges with eloquent responses to thought-provoking questions on health, leadership, environmental conservation, and personal aspirations. Between the catwalk moments and the suspense of the crowning, the audience was treated to stellar performances from Tracy Mellon, RnB icon Aziz Azion, Grace Nakimera, and the vibrant Abeeka Band.

Faith Kirabo was named First Runner-Up and Miss Beach Beauty while Agatha Drakes Keine emerged Second Runner-Up, also taking home the Miss Multimedia and Miss Photogenic titles, while . Other category winners included Gillians Akot (Miss Sports and Congeniality), Aminah Nalubega (Miss Popularity and Raising Woman), Patricia Nairuba (Top Model), Bathsheba Gift Namugga (Miss Personality), Rebecca Akampulira (Miss Talent), and Elizabeth Jemimah Nelima, who was elected President of the Miss Uganda 2025/26 Class.

Brenda Nanyonjo, CEO of the Miss Uganda Foundation, was visibly moved as she reflected on the night’s success. “It has been a long journey, and we have seen tremendous growth in the girls. Only one wears the crown, but they are all winners in their own right,” she said, thanking sponsors for making the event possible.

Muhoza’s reign began on a high note, she drove away in a brand-new Toyota Wish and now prepares to represent Uganda on the Miss World stage. For her, this is more than a personal triumph. With beauty, ambition, and a heart set on impact, she hopes to turn her crown into a beacon of hope for vulnerable mothers across the country.
