Bukomansimbi Member of Parliament and artist manager, Geofrey Kayemba Ssolo, has graduated with a Master’s degree in Leadership and Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management at Arizona State University in the United States.
In a statement marking the milestone, the legislator expressed pride and gratitude for completing the academic journey that he described as both demanding and transformative.
“Today, I officially graduate with my Master’s degree in Leadership and Management from Thunderbird School of Global Management faculty at Arizona State University,” he said. “This journey pushed me to grow as both a thinker and a leader. The long nights, hard work, and moments of doubt have all led to this proud moment.”
Kayemba, who also manages award-winning singer Rema Namakula, thanked his family, friends, mentors, and constituents in Bukomansimbi for their unwavering support.
“Thank you to everyone who supported me along the way—my family, friends, mentors, and the people of Bukomansimbi. Your belief in me made all the difference,” he said.
He also reserved special thanks for opposition leader and National Unity Platform (NUP) president Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu, popularly known as Bobi Wine.
“I thank my president Bobi Wine for the motivation always. I’m now officially the educated hooligan,” Kayemba added, echoing a term that NUP supporters have reclaimed with pride.
Kayemba Solo’s graduation adds to his profile as a leader who continues to balance public service, music management, and now academic excellence.
