Miss Uganda 2025/26, Natasha Nyonyozi, has emerged as the continental winner for Africa in the prestigious Beauty with a Purpose segment of the ongoing Miss World pageant in India — a major milestone for Uganda on the global stage.
Nyonyozi joins four other regional winners from around the world, including Valeria Perez (Americas and Caribbean), Millie-Mae Adams (Europe), and Monica Kezia Sembiring (Asia and Oceania), as announced by the Miss World organization via Instagram.
Describing her as a beacon of compassion and leadership, the Miss World team hailed Nyonyozi’s project as “a testament to her unwavering dedication and passion to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.”
The Miss Uganda franchise celebrated the win, describing it as “not just a victory for Natasha, but for the entire nation.” “We’re thrilled, honoured, and overjoyed to have such an incredible representative who truly embodies the spirit of Miss Uganda,” the organization shared.
Natasha was crowned Miss Uganda on August 3, 2024, during a glamorous ceremony at the Sheraton Hotel in Kampala, triumphing over 28 other contestants to earn the coveted national title.
Born and raised in Kyonyo, Kamuganguzi, Kabale District, the 23-year-old beauty queen is a graduate of Coventry University in the UK, where she earned a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Accounting and Finance.
Beyond the pageant world, Nyonyozi is also an entrepreneur. She runs a thriving beauty parlour called Girl Hive, located at The Cube in Kisementi, Kampala.
Her recognition at Miss World marks a significant moment for Uganda — showcasing not only beauty, but purpose-driven impact on a continental platform.
