‘Say My Name’ campaign launched

Castle Lite brought Kampala to a standstill with a bold, mysterious activation at Acacia Mall, launching its new campaign, “Say My Name,” in signature style through a fridge, a riddle, and a rap. What began as a social media guessing game around a mysterious rooftop box ended in an unforgettable brand reveal, with hip-hop star Mun G taking the spotlight in a high-energy performance of the campaign’s theme song.

Crowds gathered to solve the clues behind the unmarked box, eventually triggering the reveal of a Castle Lite fridge inside and reaffirming the brand’s place in the hearts of Ugandan beer lovers. The campaign cleverly played into the urban consumer’s love for pop culture and interaction, combining mystery, music, and refreshment into one sleek statement: “When you order a Lite, ask for Castle Lite.”

“Our goal is to reaffirm our position as Uganda’s best-tasting lite beer by creating memorable, consumer-first experiences,” said Adu Rando, Managing Director of Nile Breweries. Brand Manager Eric Malinga added, “Castle Lite is more than a beer — it’s a movement of innovation, from our ice-proof labels to our culture-led stunts.”

The event wrapped with product tastings and a spirited crowd chant of “Castle!” “Lite!” — proving that Castle Lite is not just cold, it’s also cool.
