You remember that good old Sunday school anthem, “Father Abraham had many sons, I am one of them and so are you…”? Well, one of the sons is representing boldly. The good Apostle recently announced his plan to build a $55m church.
For context, Elon Musk bought Twitter (now X) for $40b, and even then, the man had to borrow despite having more money than some countries. But the apostle, he confidently declared that he would not borrow a single shilling. Instead, he believes the unemployed youth, with enough faith, will give him the millions, and not just millions but in dollars.
We are talking over Shs200b for those struggling with the calculator. Now, I know the Bible says faith the size of a mustard seed can move mountains, but faith that can move dollars from unemployed pockets? That is faith on steroids.
Personally, as a fellow son of Abraham, I am still battling to survive a month on my salo. But hey, we listen and we do not judge. Anyways, as usual we got the blue and red corner , team “he could just build a school, hospital or an orphanage” muli bangi nyo!, yet none is even the unemployed youth with faith going to contribute.
Y’all have so much audacity to give opinions on money that you are not even contributing on. It is interesting to realise while some of us watched and just enjoyed Ozark, some people were picking lessons – if you know you know. Anyways, some disciples took it upon themselves to insult all the people who dared ask questions, as for the people who believe there could be better use of the money, go start your own ministry, please.
