Star-studded lineup for POATE grand finale

The much-anticipated Pearl of Africa Tourism Expo (POATE) 2025 is set to conclude with a spectacular cultural and musical celebration on May 24, 2025, at the serene Speke Resort Munyonyo Lakeside. The grand finale promises to be a fusion of rhythm, heritage, and African pride—anchored by some of Uganda’s biggest music stars and cultural icons.

At the forefront of this dazzling lineup is the legendary girl group Blu*3, composed of Cindy Sanyu, Jackie Chandiru, and Lilian Mbabazi. Their reunion performance is expected to be a major highlight, stirring both nostalgia and excitement among fans who have followed their journey since the early 2000s. They’ll be joined by powerhouse performers like Winnie Nwagi, known for her electrifying stage presence; cultural music ambassador Suuna Ben; and folk sensation Aliddeki Brian, who continues to breathe new life into traditional Ugandan sounds.

Bringing charm and humor to the stage will be celebrated comedian Patrick Salvado, who takes on hosting duties for the evening. He’ll be flanked by dynamic media personalities Sheila Gashumba and Sheila Salta as co-hosts, promising a lively and engaging flow throughout the night.

Organized by Talent Africa, the festival serves as the climax of the three-day Pearl of Africa Tourism Expo, the largest and most influential tourism platform on the continent. The event brings together key stakeholders, creatives, cultural ambassadors, and representatives from across Africa—including delegations from Kenya, South Africa, and other nations—to celebrate the continent’s rich heritage and tourism potential.

This year’s edition of POATE takes on even greater significance as it seeks to position Uganda not only as a prime tourist destination but also as a hub for pan-African unity through music and culture. The festival will showcase traditional performances, live music, dance, fashion, and storytelling, creating an immersive experience that highlights the diversity and vibrancy of African culture.

With a mix of legendary performers, contemporary hitmakers, and a culturally charged atmosphere, the Pearl of Africa Tourism Expo 2025 Grand Finale is poised to be more than just an event—it will be a celebration of identity, talent, and the unifying power of music.
