After years of cheering from the sidelines, media personality and fashion icon Sheilah Gashumba has finally stepped behind the decks — joining the new wave of entertainment powerhouses redefining Uganda’s nightlife. Following in the footsteps of Etania, Zahara Toto, DJ Alisha, and Lynda Ddane, Sheilah has officially debuted her DJ persona: DJ Lil Stunner.
The self-proclaimed “Lil Stunner” isn’t just playing around. In 2024, she enrolled at Rise Academy, one of Africa’s most prestigious DJ schools based in Johannesburg, where she received hands-on training in both traditional equipment and cutting-edge digital software. The experience transformed her lifelong love for music into a polished, professional craft.
Now armed with skill, swagger, and a killer playlist, DJ Lil Stunner is preparing to take on stages far beyond Kampala. Her team has lined up a pan-African and global promotional tour, with upcoming performances in Kenya, Tanzania, Ghana, Nigeria, South Africa, Rwanda — and farther afield in the United States and Europe.
Sheilah’s entry into DJing adds yet another layer to her dynamic brand, proving she’s not just an influencer — she’s a cultural force.
