South Africa’s DBN Gogo’s young vibes at Silo 15 fete

Traditional dancers performed different sets of dances originating from Burundi, Rwanda, and Western Uganda which set the tone for what to expect for the anniversary. Inside, the energy was nothing short of electrifying.

 

South African DJ and music producer Mandisa Radebe, professionally known as DBN Gogo, was the guest star during Silo 15 first anniversary a few days ago and if there was ever a night that solidified her reign as an Amapiano powerhouse, it was that night.

From the moment guests arrived, it was clear this was no ordinary celebration. The driveway had been transformed into a glamorous red-carpet affair, complete with a cultural showcase that had guests feeling special as they walked the runway.As the official beverage sponsor for Silo at One, Don Julio was at the heart of the celebration, ensuring that the anniversary was nothing short of extravagant.

Traditional dancers performed different sets of dances originating from Burundi, Rwanda, and Western Uganda which set the tone for what to expect for the anniversary.

Inside, the energy was nothing short of electrifying. The night featured an impressive line-up of Kampala’s hottest talents like City Girl, Selector Jay, Etania ‘Life of the Party,’ DJ Sesse, and DJ Dash.

At around 1am, DBN Gogo took control of the decks with unmatched energy, dropping an explosive set filled with chart-topping Amapiano hits. Tracks like Khuza Gogo, Bells, Ketseng, and Possible had the crowd on their feet, moving in perfect sync with the beats.The energy at the venue was contagious, heightened by Etania and her crew, whose infectious dance moves ignited an all-out rave on the dance floor.

Speaking on the milestone event, Ryan Aine, CEO of Silo 15 stated, “One year ago, we set out to redefine nightlife in Kampala, and today, we celebrate a journey filled with unforgettable moments, incredible people, and partners who believe in our vision. We look forward to many more years of creating premium experiences for our patrons.”

The night stretched well into the early hours, with revelers only beginning to leave after 4am, long after DBN Gogo’s high-energy set had come to an end. A perfect close to an epic start to another day, proving once again that Silo 15 is the home of premium nightlife experiences.
