A-Z: It is that time of the year when the sQoop team summarises how the entertainment industry has been the whole year. Isaac Ssejjombwe and Andrew Kaggwa break it down for you in alphabetical order, looking at the highs and lows, the headliners, the newcomers and everything entertainment.
A – AI: Did you think A would stand for Alien Skin? Of course, he did a lot to self destruct this year, but he has not been able to dominate news more than AI. From the beginning of the year, when Azawi released her single Masavu, AI became a topic of discussion after some smart Ugandan decided to throw departed Moses Sekibogo alias Moze Radio’s voice on the song. This threw the artiste onto the defence to prove she actually composed her song as rumours had started spreading that it was one of the songs the late left unreleased.
There were other AI generated songs such as Uga Boys’ Namulabako where Radio’s voice was still added as well as Alien Skin, Bobi Wine and King Saha……READ FULL STORY HERE
