Veteran artiste Moses Ssali, alias Bebe Cool, plans to release a new album, Break the Chains, that he says is the beginning of a new dawn, not just for him or Uganda but for Africa as a continent. The singer says he has evolved musically, but will stay extremely relevant to the times and trends as well as appealing to even a larger audience.
According to Bushington, one of the facilitators on this Afrobeat album, it has taken them a year to finish the album and that the 16 tracks on it were selected from 50 songs Bebe Cool has recorded over time.
The producer also said Bebe Cool’s input in this album made him think the man is about to retire.
“His dedication, passion and work ethic on this album made me think this was his last music project. A thought crossed my mind that Rasta might be retiring anytime,” Bushington said.
