Ugandan artiste Mudra D’ Viral is one of the artistes who came out and warned Mariachi a few months ago from attacking Muslims in his jokes. Now we have learnt that the artiste, who has a concert today, declined sponsorship offers from alcohol brands due to the strong commitment to his Islamic faith. It is believed some alcohol brands wanted to be part of his concert by investing in it but he declined saying it can’t sit well with his religious beliefs.
Alcohol brands have been heavily investing in concerts lately which has been reducing the burdens on musicians. But if Mudra could resist this temptation, he is indeed one of a kind.
