Cristiano Ronaldo’s YouTube channel surges past 4 Million subscribers minutes after launch

International football star Cristiano Ronaldo is making headlines once again, but this time for a different reason. Rather than scoring goals or winning trophies, Ronaldo has set a new record in social media engagement.

On Wednesday, August 21, the Portuguese footballer launched his YouTube channel, ‘UR.Cristiano,’ which quickly became the fastest-growing channel to reach 100,000 subscribers. Within hours of its launch, the channel attracted over 4 million subscribers.

This achievement, reached in just over 20 minutes, broke the previous record held by ‘Sidemen Reacts,’ a channel run by the British YouTube group Sidemen, known for their vlogs on various topics.

The content on Ronaldo’s channel primarily focuses on his football career, his relationship with wife Georgina Rodriguez, his family, and more. The channel has also garnered a significant number of views per video in a remarkably short time, underscoring Ronaldo’s substantial influence.

At 38 years old, Ronaldo is approaching one billion followers across all his social media platforms. He currently has 112 million followers on X, 170 million on Facebook, 636 million on Instagram, and over bythe time of this publication he had over 30 million subscribers on YouTube.
