About 10 years ago, there was a beauty Pageant dubbed Miss Teen organized by Buzz Events and Swangz Avenue. No official statement was released on why it seized happening . Well, we can now authoritatively tell you that another Pageant with similar a name and agenda has been launched. It is slated to take place on August 31 at the Silver Springs Hotel.
The pageant known as Miss Teen Pearl of Africa, organized by a model and former Miss Tourism Beauty Queen Eve Atim is aimed at empowering Young African women by celebrating their talents, intelligence and heritage beyond beauty for them to be able to make a positive impact.
Twelves finalists will vie for the top prize of Miss Teen Pearl of Africa. The event is said to happen annually and the winner will be representing Uganda at Miss Teen Universe in India this October.
