Benon and Vampos
The Gen Z would never know how big Benon and Vampos, now Vampino, were in their days. With songs such as Mumulete, I know, Nsazewo and My Lady among others, they were among the biggest duo in Uganda. Then they switched their talents to recording and managing other artistes.
We have been reliably informed that before year end or earlier next year, we might witness the first-ever concert from the duo. This was confirmed by Julius Kyazze, the CEO of Swangz Avenue.
“Just watch the space. We are working on having the Benon and Vampos concert,” Kyazze hinted recently. We just cannot wait.
