Mukono District Local Government has locked horns with the Uganda Land Commission over plans to gazette one square mile of land covering a dozen villages in Mpungwe Sub-county for, among others, parcelling to the Senegalese-American singer-record producer Akon to construct a “futuristic city powered by cryptocurrency”, and the establishment of a new eco-friendly city.
