Rotarians from district 9213 concluded the three-day 99th Rotary District Conference (Discon) last Saturday at Speke Resort Munyonyo in an award-winning dinner, bringing style and cheer to a blend.

Under the Great Gatsby theme, the dinner that doubled as the governor’s banquet was a showcase of fashion, appreciating flapper dresses, fascinators and body socks for the ladies and a black-tie affair for the men, with a few notable statement tailcoats in sight.

Speaking at the dinner, Anne thanked Rotarians for entrusting her with office and highlighted the need for more sustainable causes as she welcomed the incoming team.
