Kenneth Mugabi redefines Jameson and friends

Kenneth Mugabi’s performance excited the crowd


Kenneth Mugabi is one of the few artistes who give his all when he steps on stage. Even when he is not paid but rather helping out, he performs to the best of his ability. Now imagine him performing as a headlining act at a n event with hundreds of revellers.

On Saturday evening at Design Hub during the Jameson and Friends Mapenzi edition, Kenneth Mugabi was the headlining act and it is only the revellers who could attest to his infectious melodies during the event.

Mugabi usually performs with a guitar but on this specific edition, he delivered in a different way. He performed with a tube fiddle captivating the audience with his soulful hits like ‘Nkwegomba’, ‘Oliwange’, ‘Naki,’ ‘Sanyu’ and ‘Under Wraps’ among others.

He was joined by Akeine who delivered an outstanding performance with attendees singing along to her ‘Nina’, and ‘Onina’ hits among others.
The night also saw Dj Kasbaby and Alfonkodee sending the audience into a frenzy with their seamless transitions.

The event organized by Talent Africa brought together an ensemble of friends for an evening of bonding and connecting.
The Jameson and Friends is an afternoon into evening event with activities including performances, games like Jenga, mini golf, pool table, Matatu, and others.

Gates were open at 4:oopm with DJ Tony setting the tone for the evening while Hibotep, right after, kept the crowd on their feet with her infectious energy and undeniable talent.  DJ Alza’s incredible mix was also nothing less than powerful.

Soccer fans got to enjoy the Manchester and Arsenal matches while getting free haircuts, and having light conversations over free Jameson cocktails. Attendees enjoyed barbeque from the meat guy while Gaming enthusiasts also bonded over video games.
