Gravity Omutujju’s Walumbe Zaaya remake pulled down from YouTube

Another song has reportedly been pulled down from rapper Gereson Wabuyu alias Gravity Omutujju’s YouTube Channel.

The development comes barely two days after his “Ddoboozi lya mutuuze” song was deleted from the video hosting social site over copyright infringement which left the singer ranting on social media and accusing musician-turned politician Bobi Wine for being behind it.

What we have learnt so far is that the song titled “Walumbe Zaaya” a remake done by Gravity was pulled down by Gravity himself moments after one of the family members of the song composer, Paul Job Kafeero known as Swarz Kafeero threatened to petition YouTube to pull it down.

Kafeero, a son to the late Kadongokamu singer accused the Ugandan rapper for remaking the song without paying any single penny to their family and using vulgar words which were not in line with the song.

“Becoming a public nuisance is so shaming. Years ago when I met this Gravity Omutujju guy I saw a real humble struggling youth wanting to make way in life so we let him go away with re-doing our fathers *Walumbe Zaaya* long living hit without question or even payment. As time flies you the public gave him all your attention till he became a shame,” wrote Kafeero in a post on his Facebook page.

“You did our dad’s song and didn’t even pay a single penny and you even sang vulgar words that were not in line with the music. On top of that you even used our fathers image in the video and his real voice to support your cracked one..So as family we have decided to put down the *Walumbe Zaaya* Song you re did off all your social media platforms,” he added.

The son to the late Paul Kafeero also defended Bobi Wine whom Gravity accused of remaking the “Ddipo naziggala” song without permission from the late musician’s family.

“Bobi Wine redid the *Dippo Nazzigala* song and even took the initiative to look for us and paid..during our struggling days in high school,” Kafeero revealed.
