Last week, the Uganda National Musicians Federation went to Parliament with a petition to amend the Copyright and Neighbouring Rights Act that was enacted in 2006.
The deputy Speaker of Parliament, Thomas Tayebwa, further wrote to the Attorney General and the Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Affairs to follow up the matter. With this letter, one of the members of the federation, Ray Signature took it upon himself to dig jibes at Cindy and the Uganda Musicians Association.
Using some flowery language that we cannot publish here, he said If a child refused to bathe, they would force them to have that shower so the king and her small association will thank them later.
