Maurice Kirya has been busy lately. From a successful concert at Kampala Serena Hotel a few weeks ago to making preparations for another show at the National Theatre, the man has been cooking. And the pace at which he is rolling has left us wondering what will be served next from his kitchen.
Could the Mwoyo singer be planning on bringing back to life his coffee shop – the Sound Cup?
We wonder after Kirya posted on his social media handles saying, “Who are the best Ugandan interior wooden furniture manufacturers? I’m talking couches, dining tables, beds, coffee tables, bereurs, stools, coffee tables & chairs? Please recommend some Instagram handles.”
The Sound Cup was a coffee shop at Garden City owned by the singer back in 2013 out of passion birthed from his family that used to cook but the business suffered a hard blow at some point and eventually collapsed.
