‘World of sounds’, a live music platform that showcases diverse sounds, talents and music elements with a focus on an immersion into alternative forms of creative arts and culture that people never get to see or consume in quantity on mainstream events is happening.
The first edition will be held on October 6, at Kampala Serena Hotel headlined by Michael Ouma who will be serenading revelers in an afro jazz music and fusion.
Asked why Ouma was the first artiste to headline the event, Isaac Rucci, one of the organizers said Ouma’s body of works, musical understanding and talent gives him the weight needed to headline this event.
“As an artiste, he has elevated the jazz music scene in Uganda with a unique entertaining style informed by traditional rhythms and melodies mixed with western sounds and style,” said Rucci.
World of sounds will be an annual event with various editions, each edition unpacking a specific genre, concept, talent and idea.
