Arnold Schwarzenegger is back! He may not be back as the terminator, not the governator but he is a treat for the screen in FUBAR. If you are nervous about watching it because you have been beaten too many times by TV shows starring once-famous movie actors, no need to be that. In FUBAR, Schwarzenegger is not trying to regain something from his past. In fact, his character, Luke Brunner is ready for retirement from the CIA. His plan is to work on his relationship with his ex-wife, Tally (Udenio) and daughter, Emma (Barbaro). However, when his CIA friend, Barry (Carter), tells him about another agent, whose codename is Panda being in danger, he temporarily comes out of retirement. The case involves, Boro (Luna), an arms dealer who has rapport with Luke. Of course he has no idea that Luke is in the CIA. Things get interesting when Luke meets Panda, and she turns out to be Emma. They are both surprised to discover that they are in the CIA, and get up to some ups and downs as they rediscover who the other person is.

I enjoyed FUBAR more than I thought I would. Sure, the humour feels forced in some places but it is a nice storyline. The cast is well-constituted so they play their chemistry off each other really well. Feimster is clearly the comic relief of the group and he does it well.

The parts where Schwarzenegger does or says something from his movies are a little cringe because you would have to know what he is referring to in order to really enjoy them. It may be because Netflix does not give us too many shows to get excited about but I am looking forward to a second season of FUBAR.
